Marketing & Events Coordinator
Position Summary
The Marketing & Events Coordinator will support the Marketing Director and team by assisting in driving awareness, bookings, and community engagement for Atlantic Park Surf through a combination of marketing and events work. This role will assist in day-to day marketing functions, sponsorships, design, content, production and promotional campaigns while also assisting in concepting and executing on-site events and programs. The ideal candidate is an organized self-starter who's comfortable moving between marketing duties, an events calendar, and live events in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in coordination marketing production items for operational and marketing needs.
Assist in writing and scheduling email newsletters, SMS text campaigns, and promotional copies for surf sessions, lessons, and packages.
Maintain the website's events and promotions pages and keep booking and event-related content accurate and current.
Supporting sponsorships and partnerships, assisting with day-to-day sponsorship tasks and maintaining status updates for weekly sponsorship meetings.
Manage and support onsite and offsite brand activations and tradeshow booths for Atlantic Park Surf.
Manage and coordinate events, from concepts to execution, such as surf competitions, demo days, brand activations, live music, and further opportunities that reflect Atlantic Park Surf’s brand pillars.
Manage event logistics: vendor coordination, permits, staffing schedules, signage, and day-of setup/breakdown
Serve as the on-site point of contact during events, troubleshooting issues in real time
Build post-event recaps (attendance, feedback, content) to inform future programming and marketing
Manage the events budget and vendor contracts in coordination with the Marketing Director
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in marketing, events, hospitality, or a related coordinator role
Experience planning or supporting live events, sport events, activations, or programs
Strong written communication and organizational skills; comfortable managing multiple projects at once
Working knowledge of scheduling/design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Meta Business Suite, Mailchimp or similar)
Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays around event and peak surf schedules
Ability to be a manager on duty, supporting operations and guest needs during operating and event dates
Passion for surf culture, action sports, or outdoor recreation strongly preferred

Must be willing to work a dynamic schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

$50,000-$60,000 annually
