Seasonal Housekeeping Attendant
Position Summary
Atlantic Park Surf is seeking dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented Housekeeping & Facilities staff to support the daily upkeep and presentation of our surf park grounds and facilities. This behind-the-scenes role is essential in creating a clean, safe, and inviting environment for guests and team members alike.
The ideal candidate takes pride in a job well done, thrives in an active and outdoor setting, and brings a proactive approach to cleanliness, safety, and teamwork. This role does not involve water treatment or machinery maintenance responsibilities but focuses on facility cleanliness, trash management, and general upkeep of lagoon areas.
Atlantic Park operates year‑round; however, this position is a seasonal role created exclusively to support our peak operating season, which typically runs April through September. Employment in this role begins at the start of the peak season and automatically ends at the close of the peak season, with no expectation of continued or year‑round employment. Rehire for future peak seasons is not guaranteed and depends solely on staffing needs and business conditions.
Seasonal Responsibilities
These duties apply only during the peak seasonal period and may vary based on weather, guest volume, and operational needs.
Grounds & Facility Maintenance
Perform daily cleaning tasks in guest areas, staff spaces, restrooms, and locker rooms.
Empty trash and recycling receptacles across the park grounds.
Keep walkways, entrances, and common areas clear of debris and hazards.
Restock paper products, soap, and other supplies as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and order in supply closets and housekeeping carts.
Assist in lagoon cleanliness as needed
Guest Support & Presentation
Help ensure the park maintains a clean and polished appearance at all times.
Respond quickly and kindly to requests for clean-ups or restocks from guests or team members.
Support event setup, cleanup, and space transitions as needed.
Report any facility damage, safety concerns, or needed repairs to the Facilities Manager.
Teamwork & Safety
Follow all cleaning protocols and use chemicals safely.
Wear appropriate safety gear and uniform as provided.
Collaborate with other departments to keep operations running smoothly.
Model a respectful, courteous, and professional attitude at all times.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
Previous experience in janitorial, housekeeping, facilities, or theme park operations preferred.
Basic knowledge of cleaning tools and safe chemical use.
Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Ability to manage time effectively and work independently once trained.
Bilingual or multilingual communication skills are a plus.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry up to 40 lbs for extended periods.
Comfortable with working outdoors and sometimes physically demanding environments.
Must be able to wear the provided uniform.

Schedule & Compensation
Flexible scheduling with shifts available on weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Compensation will start at $15/hr based upon prior experience and assigned roles / responsibilities.

Shifts may be reduced or canceled due to storms, maintenance, or other seasonal factors
