Before Your Surf
What to Expect
Plan to arrive at least 45 minutes before your session to check in at the welcome desk, collect your wristband, and complete your waiver if you haven’t done so online. Once inside, head to Surf Rentals, Surf Academy, or, if you're a regular, find a spot to set up your gear. Complimentary locker hire is available for all guests. Surf sessions begin on the hour, and the mandatory safety briefing starts 15 minutes prior at the lifeguard tower—don’t miss it!
What to Bring
Pack a towel, swimwear, and sunscreen for your session. If you have your own surf gear, feel free to bring your board, wetsuit, and wax. ATLANTIC PARK SURF does not offer towel rentals, but if you need equipment or want to test the latest surf gear, visit Surf Rentals or the on-site Surf Shop.
Equipment & Surf Rentals
Looking to rent? Surf Rentals offers a variety of boards, wetsuits, and accessories from top surf brands. Whether it’s your first soft board (foamie), a high-performance shortboard, or booties for added grip, our team can help you find the perfect fit. Board rentals start at $15, and wetsuits from $19 per session—available for pre-booking or on-site rental. If you’ve booked a lesson, soft board and wetsuit hire are included.
Spectator Pass
Want to watch the action? A Spectator Pass gives you access to park amenities, including the lagoon-side leisure pool, hot tubs, change rooms, and relaxing green spaces. Surf sessions, lessons, and memberships include a Spectator Pass, while guests who just want to watch and enjoy the park can purchase one separately.
During Your Surf
In the Water
Each surf session lasts one hour, while lessons run for 90 minutes, including 30 minutes of dry land training and 60 minutes in the water.
For Point sessions, surfers will paddle out against the machine before catching 10-12 waves per session. Towards the end of your session, an announcement will signal the last few sets—be sure to catch your final wave to the shore or paddle in if needed, ensuring a smooth transition for the next group. After your session, return any rental gear, rinse off in the showers, and soak up the stoke with fellow surfers!
Safety First
ATLANTIC PARK SURF provides authentic ocean-like waves in a safe, controlled environment, suitable for all ages and skill levels. Safety is our top priority—all guests must review our safety overview, watch the briefing video, and sign a safety waiver before their first session (updated every six months). If you have any concerns, don’t hesitate to ask our team.
After Your Surf

Check out your clips on the Green Room TVs, restaurant screens, or online to see yourself standing up, carving, or even getting barreled!
